Large screen phones got always good reaction from the market. Micromax, Karbonn and Sasmung have already tasted this alteration and now Indian company Xolo launched its latest Smartphone cum Phablet Xolo Q3000 today. A Lava’s premium Smartphone subsidiary Xolo got a great response from its recently released phones Xolo Q1000 Opus and Xolo Q900, and decided to launch a high range Smartphone Xolo Q3000. The device is priced at Rs. 16,999 and available online in Black and White color variant.

The Xolo Q3000 mobile comes with 5.7 inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display, which offering Full HD Resolution (1920×1080 pixels). When we checked the device, we found the display pretty good in terms of quality, with a smooth and very responsive touch experience along with stunning colour contrast. So we can say it worth buying handset from Xolo.

Everybody understands that big screen means huge body, however Xolo has managed to keep device thin and light. At 8.9mm, the Xolo Q3000 is quite thin and similar to Galaxy Note 3’s depth of 8.3mm.

The device is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589T high speed processor along with 2GB of RAM. The Xolo Q3000 handset is packed with 13 megapixel auto focus primary camera with BSI 2 sensor, and capable to record full HD 1080pixel video. A 5 megapixel front camera with a BSI sensor is also added in the phone, which offers better quality output for video calling. The Xolo mobile includes all high tech sensors as Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity, Magnetometer and Gyroscope sensors. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The Xolo Q3000 handset houses 16 GB on board storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via Micro SD card. 12 GB storage is allocated for user’s usage and remaining 0.98 GB for apps. Karbonn Titanium s9, and Micromax Canvas Turbo will be a big rival of Xolo Q3000 mobile. All above specifications and features prove it complete and best handset amongst other latest Smartphones.

Lava’s latest device –Xolo Q3000 might change the opinion. The phablet comes with same display and hardware equivalent to Galaxy Note 3 that seems like a great option at Rs 17,000.

Verdict :

We are really impressed with the specifications(hardware & software) of Xolo Q3000, even the phone can get software upgradation to Android JellyBean 4.3 or KitKat 4.4 OS. A high speed processor, decent display, long life battery and excellent camera are the main sturdy areas, while just bulky body is big clunk.

The touch is very smooth and fast responsive so you would definitely the device.  The phone provides  strong grip to your hands.

To check the performance of the phone, we installed Transformer and batman game and felt amazing gaming experience while played on it. The Display will not let your eyes move from the game. The high quality sound also will add extra fun to your entertainment.

We always face battery backup issues with our handsets so the Xolo considered it and powered 4000mAh in the phone which will give you sufficient backup whether watching movies on it or calling continuously. Everything seems perfect here.

However, the handset gets 4 stars out of 5 from our side and no other such a device available in the market under Rs. 16,999.
