Finally, Samsung unveiled its most awaited handset ‘Galaxy Note 4’. It’s a 4th gen device with a stylish look and awesome features. Now, the time has come to upgrade Galaxy Note 3 with Note 4.
The Galaxy note 4 seems much alike its predecessor Note 3 comes with 5.7’’ display with soft textured back panel and metal band around the edge.

The big thing about the phone is ‘Quad HD’ display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and boasting 515ppi pixel density. The phone is covered in ‘2.5D glass’ that means it has a very slight curve. It flaunts 5.7 inch diagonal display that means it’s not much bigger than many running phones these days. For instance, you will get it smaller than LG G Flex. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Hardware & Software
The Korean device ‘Note 4’ packs octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset, which is split up into 1.9GHz quad-core processor for bigger multimedia activities and 1.3 GHz quad-core for basic tasks. The 2nd variant of Note 4 comes with 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 graphics. Both variants come with 3 GB of RAM. The users will gain marvelous gaming experience on it. We can say it a complete multimedia smartphone with awesome hardware features.
The device is equipped with Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, gesture, UV, heart rate and SpO2 sensors.
There is no surprise that the phone is launched with Android KitKat 4.4 OS, But Samsung has also worked on its user interface. It comes with some necessary preloaded apps.
Instead of numbers, Samsung wants to concentrate on Quality of pictures with Note 4. The company has given 16 Megapixel camera on rear side with optical image stabilization feature. The camera can take 2160p videos at 30fps. It has 3.7 MP camera on front side with a f1.9 aperture that can capture 1080p videos at 30fps. The bigger aperture will make secondary camera 60 % brighter than Note 3, so it would produce better quality pictures in low light conditions.
The camera features are Dual Shot, Panorama, Simultaneous HD video, HDR and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization, face and smile detection.
The front camera has wider viewing angle of 90 degrees (Note 3 has only 77 degrees viewing angle) and Panorama mode increases it to 120 degrees.

Battery with Fast Charging
The users always complained regarding battery consumption, but Samsung has made marginal change in the capacity of battery and gave 3220mAh battery (Note 3 has 3200mAh). But now the battery takes only 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 50% whereas it takes 55 minutes to charge Note 3 from 0 to 50%.
Storage and Connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB through a micro-SD slot. The device supports 2G/3G/4G ((LTE Cat 4 150/50Mbps). It comes with all advanced connectivity options GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP, NFC, Micro USB 2.0 and WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot).

The fingerprint scanner feature has been improved in Galaxy Note 4. The phone includes all exciting scanning features which we have seen on Galaxy S5 such as Screen Lock, Samsung Account Verification and PayPal Payments.
Now we come to another big feature-UV Sensor. Korean giant ‘Samsung’ did not state that the Smartphone is having in-built UV sensor during the launch. Through S health system, the phone will warn you while getting too much sun. It includes 5 UV index levels: Low, Moderate, High, Very High and Extreme.
The voice recorder has been enhanced in Note 4 by adding extra 3 microphones to record voices from 8 individual directions. The interview mode gives more clear voice. The extra microphones improve the voice quality especially when using speaker of the phone.
The S-Pen – or stylus – now came with 2048 levels of pressure sensing that is double of Note 3. A new S-Pen feature is a smart select that lets you to capture some pieces of information at one time.
The new Snap Note feature can make automatically flatten the pictures captured by camera and then convert any text into editable copy.
Overall features make us crazy about the ‘Galaxy Note 4’ and force to make budget to buy it soon. The display quality is excellent and gives incredible experience. The camera part is also good of the device and Samsung has worked extremely on the picture quality. Now you do not need to worry while installing heavy games on the phone because the powerful hardware is used in the device with enhanced GPU. From hardware to software, everything seems perfect but we will publish review post soon.
