Lava launched another budget android Smartphone on Friday, Lava Iris 405+.

The phone comes with 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480×800 pixel resolution. The company is giving a screen guard also with Silicon pouch along with Iris 405+ handset. The design of phone is also different and gives optimum look in hand.

The Lava Iris 405 plus device is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM, which is sufficient configuration for a multimedia Smartphone. The lava phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System and comes with some necessary preloaded apps.  The grip of the phone is very strong so you wouldn’t need to worry dropping of  it.

The Smartphone is equipped with 5 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash and 0.3 Megapixel front facing camera. The company has packed 4 GB internal storage in the Lava Iris 405+, which is expandable up to 32 GB through a micro SD card.The company achieved a good target from its last version Lava Iris 402.

The Lava Iris 405 plus mobile comes with some preloaded applications as NDTV, Subway Surfer Game, Temple Run 2 Game, Facebook, WhatsApp and Bookmyshow.

The Lava Iris 405 plus phone can be ordered in black and white color variant and could be called successor to the company’s last device Lava iris 405. No major changes can be seen between both handsets and every feature is similar to Iris 405. The only improvement can be found in performance and operating system even it using higher processor clock and Android version.

Competition:

This is entry level phone with basic Android features and screen resolution. The phone will compete newly released Intex Cloud Y17 which is available at same price. The cloud Y17 is powered by 1.2 Ghz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512 RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 5 Megapixel primary camera with LED flash and 1.3 MP front camera. The phone flaunts 4.5 inch capacitive display, which is little larger than Iris 405+. All the connectivity features are similar in both phones including 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS, Dual SIM and more.
