Intex launched India’s first Octa core Phone in India at Rs. 19,999, named Intex Aqua Octa. Recently, the company has indicated towards to production deal with MediaTek for the manufacturing of Octa-core phone.
The device is 7mm thick and Intex claims it slimmest Smartphone in the market. The phablet comes with 6 inch large HD IPS OGS touchscreen display and offers superior quality playback. The design seems large like Samsung Galaxy Mega but having metallic rear panel that makes it unique from others. It is just 7mm thick but flip cover makes it little bulky.
Intex Aqua Octa is powered by 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor along with 2GB RAM. The multiple cores can be assigned for different task and expected to improve battery performance. The Aqua Octa handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and packed with dual stereo speakers.

It is packed with 13 Megapixel auto focus primary camera with LED Flash and a 5 Megapixel front camera, which captures high quality photos and records video at 720pixels. The device comes with Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) support. Intex Aqua Octa has 16 GB of internal storage, in which 12 GB is available for users. The storage can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card.
All connectivity options are packed with the advanced device such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and A-GPS. The company has given 2300mAh powerful battery into the device, which claims to offer talktime up to 6 hours and standby up to 180 hours.
The phone is available in two colors : black and white, and will be sold over 40 thousand outlets from January 15.
Technically Intex Aqua Octa for today – is one of the most advanced smartphones. And most importantly, while the company have not forgotten about the powerful battery. Moreover, contrary to the market trends increased screen and its resolution, improved camera, added a lot of things, but the body has become thinner and lighter. You just need to wait for this because the company can slash the price.
