HTC announces Desire 601, its release date and specs has been revealed too by HTC. Desire series of the HTC includes one of the best smartphones, and HTC Desire 601 will launch in October. The device comes with a large 4.5 inch HD capacitive touchscreen display. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and upgradable to v4.4.2 (KitKat) .

Desire 601 supports only a single SIM (Micro SIM), and it has a 2100 mAh battery for power supply. The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with a 1 GB RAM. Its music system includes dual front stereo speakers with HTC Boom Sound. The handset comes with 2G/3G/4G supports.

Desire 601 comes with a 4.5 inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display with 960×540 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. It runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly bean operating system and supports 2G, 3G, 4G and WI-fi networks.

The device has a 5 Mega Pixel primary camera with LED flash and autofocus, which will produce HD quality output. It has only a VGA front facing secondary camera, but would be better than its rivals. The company has used Corning Gorilla Glass 2 to provide advanced security to display. The primary camera is capable to record 1080p video at 30 fps. Here are some trending camera features-1/4” sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size, geo-tagging, face and smile detection.
