HTC has officially announced the Desire 300 budget smartphone in low price. The phone packs excellent specs in low budget, and it would be seen in stores at the end of the year just like the HTC Desire 601. The device has no metallic casing elements but it’s made of plastic body with the matte rubberized texture. It will make feel very solidity in hand and no flex on the back panel.
There is no 4G connectivity but you will get nippy downloads with full 3 G.
It comes with a large 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display of 217 ppi pixel density and you can view videos and picture with clarity and colours. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Desire 300 has a 1650 mAh battery, and it is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with a 512 MB RAM. But for many users, the performance is not necessary in the first place, is more important device design and balanced filling. Its dimension and weight would be 131.78 x 66.23 x 10.12 mm and 120g respectively. The phone is using Adreno 203 graphics which gives superior look even boost the speed while playing Android games.
Desire 300 has a 5 Mega Pixel primary camera with f2.8 aperture and 34mm lens. There is no LED flash and BSI sensor, but it has autofoucs to play around face detection. We will not boasting about camera but this is good one in this price range phone. its secondary camera is only 0.3 megapixel but you can use it for video calling and I assure you that It will not desperate you.
It is less with all connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth. The company has given 1650 mAh battery in this phone that does not seem sufficient but delivering good backup because of small display. It offers stand by time up to 625 hours and talktime up to 11 hours.
Desire 300 comes with 4 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB with a micro SD card. HTC Desire 300 Smartphone is available in black and white colors. The phone is equipped with Accelerometer, proximity sensors.
A Review in Short
The HTC desire 300 is an excellent phone with average size screen, okay processor and plus a nice camera better than our expectation. The good thing is its expandable storage and being touted a most affordable phone with stylish look. We would not say that you should order it without holding in your hands so you can wait for it to be available in the store. But, I am sure that it will suit your pocket. We played 3D games on this phones and found very sensitive touch.
The users showed positive impression towards to it. The unit is very lightweight, it fits comfortably in your hand and cover the back cover almost does not collect fingerprints. The quality of housing components and assembly at a high level. All fit tightly and does not cause problems. The power button is pressed clear and quiet, but the volume control wheel is recessed and almost non-existent to the touch. This, of course, negative.
During active operation, smartphone slightly heated in the upper part, but remains warm. The device could be made even smaller, given the free space that is left below the screen. I would also like to see in the Desire 300 backlit touch buttons and LED flash.
