Nowadays, there are different versions of Android operating system available in the market. The Android Jelly Bean 4.3 is the upgraded version of Android Jelly Bean 4.1. The latest version of Android operating system is Kitkat 4.4 that contains plenty of new features as compared to other existing versions of operating system.
If we compare both Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and Kitkat 4.4, we can make out that there exist many differences. Some of the differences are explained as under:

Notification Bar
There is a difference in the notification bar of Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and Kitkat 4.4. It can be observed that the notification bar in the earlier Android operating system i.e. Jelly Bean 4.3 was blue in color but now the notification bar in the latest version of Android operating system i.e. Android Kitkat 4.4 is white in color. Other icons like Bluetooth, WI-Fi etc are similar in both the versions of operating system.
Application Drawer
If we compare the application drawer of both the versions i.e. Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and Android Kitkat 4.4, we can make out some differences. In the application drawer, there are several changes in the icons like Google settings, voice search and a newly developed app named Quick Office in the Android Kitkat 4.4 version of operating system. The remaining applications such as play store, widgets and tabs are similar in both the versions.
Clock and Stopwatch
We could observe a difference in the display of clock fonts on the screen in Kitkat 4.4 version as compared to Jelly Bean 4.3. Another prominent difference lies in the alarm clock. The alarm clock in Jelly Bean 4.3 comes from the bottom, but in the Kitkat 4.4 version, the alarm snoozes from the left corner on the top. There is a little difference in the font size of stopwatch otherwise it has been developed in similar manner as in case of Jelly Bean 4.3 version of operating system.

Downloads Application
The download application theme has been changed in the Kitkat 4.4 version of operating system. In Jelly Bean 4.3, the background theme of download application is black in color and the menu list appears at the back of download application, in comparison to this, the background theme of download application in Kitkat 4.4 version is white in color and is displayed on a full screen. This seems quite better as compared to Jelly Bean 4.3.
Quick Office
The Android Kitkat 4.4 version contains a newly developed app known as Quick Office. The Quick Office application includes some functions like open file from; create a new file and recent files. This feature is not available in the Jelly Bean 4.3 version of operating system.
Cloud Printing
In comparison to Android Jelly Bean 4.3 version, the Android Kitkat 4.4 version contains a new printing service known as cloud printing that is available in the settings option.
Settings Menu
If we compare the settings menu of both the versions, we could make out that the Wireless and Networks segment remains unchanged with control over the network configuration; whereas the device segment is inclusive of features such as “Tap and Play” and “Home” for wireless payment with the use of tablet.
