Apple Launches iPad Air, iPad Mini with TD-LTE Connectivity for China

Apple makes available LTE enabled iPad Air and iPad Mini in China and prices starting at 4,488 (RMB) / $722.71 (US) / €524.65, and 3,788 (RMB) / $609.99 / €442.82, respectively.

The new iPads have been added into the category of next generation tablets which supports china’s TD-LTE wireless standard. According to US based company Apple, “The latest technology iPads allow users to connect with advanced cellular data networks at fast speed, so the users easily can surf the internet and download faster.

The company has not given any official statement about the launching of iPad air and iPad Mini with China‘s TD-LTE wireless standard but leaked the news everywhere about new ‘iPads’ cellular connectivity.

The design of iPad Air is taken from Apple’s flagship tablets ‘ipad Mini’ which was launched last year. It is featuring a 9.7 inch Retina display in thin and light chassis.

iPad Mini with Retina display is 2nd generation of mini tablet from Apple, which sports too latest cellular connectivity like powerful Wi-Fi. The iPads comes to the market with new model no. and 16 GB iPad Air with WLAN+ cellular priced at 4,488 RMB (about US$577), 5,188 RMB (US$834) for 32 GB and 5,888 RMB (US$947), 64 GB model and 6,588 RMB (US$1059) for 128 GB model.

The new iPad mini(supporting TD-LTE) with Retina diplay WLAN+ is priced at 3,788 RMB (US$609) for the 16 GB model, 4,488 RMB (US$721) for 32 GB, 5,188 RMB (US$834) for 64 GB and 5,888 RMB (US$947) for the 128 GB version.
